Striving always to satisfy customer needs to perfection, with new and innovative product developments - that is the traditional yardstick for STOCKO's activities. Even the very first product manufactured by the newly founded "Stock & Co" was a genuine novelty - the sew-on press button.
In the course of the years the STOCKO trademark grew out of the company's legal name, Stock & Co. Due to the high degree of acceptance and market familiarity, it was made the company's name in 1923.
Since 1994 STOCKO has been a member of the world-wide YKK family. These two firms' products and objectives complement one another perfectly. YKK, the leader in zippers, wanted to achieve world market leadership with a full range of products. At that time STOCKO was active primarily in Europe and had set as its goal world-wide marketing of its garment accessories.
Today the YKK STOCKO FASTENERS GmbH offers 60 types of products and more than 1,400 different basic items. Whenever it's a matter of providing a simple and reliable closure, the garment industry puts its faith in a product which is just as simple as it is ingenious - the press fastener by YKK STOCKO.
